On Saturday we were going to visit Grandfather Mountain with my sister and brother-in-law but we realized we wouldn't all fit in my car. We have talked about how our next car should have seating for 8. Because of the gas shortage and length of the trip we decided against taking two cars and opted for lunch at Dean & Deluca and a trip to a nearby farm instead. It was a really warm day and I changed Tate out of his long sleeves at the last minute which put the kids in matching outfits.
We skipped the hay ride, tour of the farm, and petting zoo. We didn't get our pumpkins there either. We will probably visit another farm with a corn maze or something fun like that later in the month.

I can't wait to take Tetyana to a pumpkin patch and do all the fun stuff!!! She and I are going to a Girl Scout leader daughter event at a patch with a corn maze. I think she is going to go crazy over Halloween!
What are your kids going to be?
We're looking at bigger cars too, just because with the car seat regulations we can't fit as many people as we should be able to--there's just not enough room in between car seats! :)
Great photos. I especially love the family pic!
I love the pic of you & the tot. It came out really cute ~ along with all the others of course. I love that I can totally tell that Lilypie is dancing in the one of her & Sophs(:
just precious!
I was just catching up again on your blog... I just love reading this! You are so great at keeping it updated and letting us track with so many of the moments in this stage of life for you guys. You make me want to be a better blogger! :)

I love the picture of the four kids with mom and dad at the pumpkin patch. What a great photo!
