Grandfather Mountain 2009 Part 1

This year we made our annual trip up to Grandfather Mountain a few weeks late. Sophie and Tate both got sick on the weekends we were supposed to go during prime viewing weekends, but we decided to make it up there anyway because it is such a great family day. The place is gorgeous year round, with or without the fall colors!

Hi,

I've never posted a comment before, but I'm a regular reader. I found your blog while looking for information about international adoption. Both of my parents were adopted in the 1950s, one internationally and one domestically, and I am interested in pursuing an international adoption myself eventually.

Yours is one of my favorite blogs to read! Your kids are so cute and the love your family has for one another is so apparent in each of your posts. Sometimes I even go back to read old entries just because it makes me so happy that your family found each other.

I hope you don't find this strange, just thought you might like to know who was reading.

M. from NY

Hi M!

Thanks for saying hi. I don't think it is weird at all. I think that most international adoptive parents would agree that blogs are one of our main sources of inspiration, information, and networking.

:) Thanks for stopping by!
Krista
