Crazy Hair Day

I already put these up on Facebook, but I wanted to add them here for posterity sake. :P

The week before Spring Break the kids had spirit week at school to raise money for Race for the Cure. If you wanted to participate in any of the festivities the school asked that you bring $1 on that day. Sophie, Julian, and Lily chose to participate in hat day and in crazy hair day. They got really into the crazy hair ideas, coming up with all kinds of silly things and having me practice them a couple times throughout the week. This is what they ended up wearing when Thursday rolled around. We had to get up a half hour earlier than usual. The girls also had sparkles in their hair, but they didn't really show up in the pictures. They had a blast!

With friends after school. I was surprised they held up so well!

Even having been an elementary school teacher, I have never seen such great Crazy Hair Day 'do's... Those are awesome! How did you get Sophie's hair like that!? Around a ball? Amazing. Such gorgeous kids with such happy smiles!

Oh yeah... was wondering if the color ever came out? Having very blonde hair myself, I have been the victim of many silly hair colors... from crayola washable markers, to kool aid, to Halloween hair spray. LOL I hope their blonde locks fared better than mine...

Aren't you quite the stylist! So cute!

BTW, I noticed in one of your pics that you have a Graco Nautilus car seat. How do you like it? I was considering getting them since they cover such a big age/size range, and we don't know how big our kids will be. Since we need to buy 2 seats, we can't afford to go with Britax. Any thoughts? TIA!

Yes, I would recommend the Nautilus. We have three of them (Sophie was about the size of a 6 year old when we brought her home). We also have a Britax Marathon for Tate. Both seats were given rave reviews by my friend, who is a car seat tech.
