Would You Think I Was a Bad Mom?

Would you think I was a bad mom if you knew that I put off Tate's bedtime routine for so long that I went in to find this?

What if you knew that the exact same thing happened the next night?

Does it make things better or worse that both times he was "reading" himself the Jesus Storytime Bible? Who can fall asleep during the Christmas story?

Should I not have taken photographs as evidence of my motherhood crime? Should I not have called Kevin in to see both times? Should I not have told the girls to get out of bed and look? They thought it was hilarious! Tate cracks up when he sees the pictures too, so maybe no long term damage was done. ;)

If that makes you a bad mom, I'm one too. I've had them fall asleep in their dinner plate before, on the floor, on the sofa, in the car, on my lap... you name it. The good think is that he conks out at bedtime:):):).

Very cute pics, BTW.

Add me to that bad mom list too!! I came in last night to find Zack reading the children's Bible to Sophia. I just stood and listened as he told Sophia that I was a very busy mom!

I was watching television - zoning!

Krista,
I've read just about your entire blog off & on today ... and cried happy tears as I celebrate your precious family with you!!
You may be wondering who in the world I am!?!? :)
Well, we adopted our two little girls from Ukraine in December 2006 ... with Kostya's assistance (isn't he wonderful ... love him and his family!!). So today while I was looking at something on his site I was checking out some of his recent references ... and that's how I found your blog.
I really want to be your next door neighbor ... it looks so fun around your house!
Your Christmas video made me cry more happy tears ... isn't it amazing what God has done!?!? For you and us and others. So cool.
Be blessed! And thanks for being a blessing!
Mary :o)

Deana, that is too cute that Zack was reading the Bible to Sophia. :) What a sweet brother.

Mary, hi! Yes, we love Kostya and the whole Farkovets family. I hope that someday we have the money to take the kids back to Ukraine. I may be in the minority here but I totally loved Ukraine. We met so many wonderful people, the weather was lovely, the parks were beautiful, and the culture was warm and inviting. Do you have a blog, Mary? I'd love to see your girls too. Thanks for reading!
