18 months

I just figured out yesterday that today would be 18 months since the day that we first met the kids. :) What a day! So I put together some clips from our home movies to show you a little bit of what it was like when we were first getting to know them.

Beautiful video. Thank you so much for sharing. I remember following your journey 18 months ago...it doesn't seem like it has been that long! Time goes by so quickly. You have a beautiful family and you ARE so blessed...all of you.

I've been following your journey since you were in Ukraine in July 2008. We were in California visiting Adina. She was sharing with me this wonderful story (yours) and I got caught up in it. I have to say, those kids absolutely belong with you guys. They couldn't look more like you if you had birthed them. God is good to have brought you all together!

I've told so many people about you all and though we've never even met, your video just made tears of joy roll down my face! :) You have touched more lives than you will ever know. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love it! It gives us a good glimpse of what we can expect if we are blessed enough to adopt from Ukraine. Do you ever plan to write about the beginning days at home? Struggles? Services through the school? I know that might be private info, so I hope Im not too forward, I just love to hear real life experiences and perhaps we will know more about what to expect

Thank you, everyone. We all feel very lucky to have each other. :)

Janet, we joke that if we had birth children they probably wouldn't look this much like us. ;)

Holly, Happy Thanksgiving to you too! We are feeling very thankful this year. :)

McEacherns, you are too sweet. :)

As far as writing about school and first home experiences, I may. We haven't had anything too dramatic happen, all things considered. Feel free to write me with and questions you have specifically though and I will do my best to answer them. I don't need to post the questions if you send me your email. We had far less behavior type issues and that sort of thing than I was expecting.

Okay, I'm really never, ever going to read a blog post of yours without getting weepy. Little Wonders is guaranteed to make me tear up. Add to that your beautiful children and I'm a sobbing mess. Julian, Sophie, Tate and Lily are thriving with their parents' love.
