This past year, we did one boy box and one girl box, as a way to remind him that God may have a brother picked out for him, or He might have a sister in mind :) Great way to let him do something tangible. Having possibly been on the receiving end of the shoeboxes before. I'll bet this made more sense to them than it would most kids.
